At the heart of the Nova MkII is the same unique hybrid conductor architecture found in the Prima MkII. Each conductor features a silver-plated copper center conductor, individually insulated with a precision FEP dielectric, and surrounded by multiple precision-bunched OCC copper strands in a multi-strand Litz construction. Combined with a premium Japan-sourced LDPE dielectric, this carefully engineered design minimizes conductor interaction, reduces skin effect, and preserves signal integrity across the entire audible frequency spectrum.

Utilizing a precision tight-pitch conductor geometry, the Nova MkII achieves excellent electrical consistency while maximizing conductor density within its 12 AWG configuration. Its more compact construction provides increased flexibility and easier installation while delivering the current capability required by a wide range of loudspeakers and amplifiers. Sharing the same conductor technology and manufacturing techniques as the Prima MkII, the Nova MkII offers outstanding performance in applications where a smaller, more manageable cable is preferred.

Like every Zavfino cable, the Nova MkII undergoes the company's proprietary Ultra Sonic™ cleaning and conditioning process. Before conductor assembly, the raw OCC copper is passed through a supercharged ultrasonic cleaning bath that removes residual drawing oils, microscopic particles, and manufacturing contaminants from the conductor surface. This meticulous preparation contributes to improved conductor purity and the smooth, open, and natural presentation that has become a hallmark of Zavfino cables.

Before extrusion, the conductors undergo Zavfino's proprietary cryogenic treatment, further optimizing the conductor structure prior to insulation. Following assembly, the cable is subjected to Zavfino's thermal and electrical conditioning process, reducing residual manufacturing stresses while providing performance characteristics comparable to a cable that has already undergone an extended break-in period.

The Nova MkII Speaker Cable is available in both single-wire and bi-wire configurations to accommodate a wide variety of loudspeaker designs and system requirements.
