OCC Silver Dart™ Reference Audio Interconnect

The OCC Silver Dart™ Reference Audio Interconnect is the culmination of more than three years of research, engineering, materials development, and critical listening evaluation.

Rather than simply combining premium materials, Zavfino engineered Silver Dart as a complete signal-transmission system, where conductor geometry, electrical stability, ESD protection, shielding, mechanical stability, and manufacturing precision work together as a unified architecture.

At the heart of the design are two proprietary Zavfino technologies: H-Wound™ Conductor Geometry and Graphene-Enhanced ESD Protection. Together, they are engineered to maintain conductor integrity while providing a highly controlled environment for the signal.

H-Wound™ Conductor Geometry

Silver Dart employs ultra-pure Ohno Continuous Cast (OCC) silver conductors, manufactured using Zavfino's proprietary H-Wound™ compression-stranding technology. The process is engineered to maintain precise conductor geometry throughout manufacturing while minimizing strand deformation and mechanical disturbance. A final precision horizontal winding secures the conductor structure, helping maintain consistent spacing and geometry throughout the finished cable. The result is a highly consistent conductor assembly with controlled electrical characteristics, improved mechanical stability, and exceptional manufacturing repeatability.

Graphene-Enhanced ESD Protection

A key feature of Silver Dart is its use of Graphene-Doped PE specifically to enhance electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection within the cable architecture.Graphene is incorporated into the polyethylene material to provide a controlled pathway for dissipating accumulated electrostatic energy. This helps reduce the potential for static charge to build up around the critical signal conductors and provides an additional level of protection against electrostatic events.Unlike treating ESD protection as a separate external feature, Zavfino integrates the Graphene-Doped PE directly into the cable construction, placing the protective properties immediately around the conductor system. The result is a more carefully controlled electrical environment designed to help protect the signal path from unwanted electrostatic disturbances while maintaining the inherent electrical properties of the PE insulation.

An Integrated Signal-Transmission System

H-Wound™ conductor geometry and Graphene-Enhanced ESD Protection are developed to work together as part of the overall Silver Dart architecture. The conductor establishes the electrical pathway, while the surrounding Graphene-Doped PE provides an additional level of electrostatic protection. Silver Dart therefore approaches cable construction as a complete engineered system, where conductor integrity, ESD management, shielding, mechanical stability, and manufacturing precision are considered together rather than as isolated features.

Advanced Graphene Shielding

Silver Dart incorporates an advanced graphene-based shielding system designed to provide effective protection against unwanted electromagnetic and radio-frequency interference. The shielding architecture is engineered as part of the overall cable system rather than simply added as a conventional external layer. Particular attention is given to maintaining a controlled electrical environment while keeping capacitance exceptionally low.

Cable-in-Cable™ Architecture

Zavfino's mechanically isolated Cable-in-Cable™ architecture provides an additional level of physical separation between the critical signal conductors and their external environment.

The construction is designed to reduce mechanical interaction, increase separation between critical elements, and provide greater control over the cable's overall electrical and mechanical behavior.

Precision Treatment & Conditioning

Before final assembly, each OCC silver conductor undergoes Zavfino's proprietary cryogenic treatment.

The conductors then undergo controlled thermal and high-voltage conditioning as part of Zavfino's preparation and manufacturing process before final assembly.

Every stage is focused on maintaining the precision and consistency of the conductor system established during the initial manufacturing process.

Engineered for Signal Integrity

The objective of OCC Silver Dart™ is not to impose a particular sonic character on the music.Instead, it is engineered to provide a highly controlled, low-noise transmission path while incorporating additional protection against electrostatic disturbances. The combination of OCC silver, H-Wound™ compression stranding, Graphene-Doped PE for enhanced ESD protection, graphene shielding, Cable-in-Cable™ architecture, and precision manufacturing creates a comprehensive approach to protecting and preserving the signal path.

The result is an interconnect engineered for transparency, low-level resolution, spatial precision, dynamic expression, and tonal neutrality—allowing the character of the recording and the performance of the audio system to remain at the forefront.
